How We Can Help
Strategic Information
We regularly work with our clients, producting strategic levels and drainage information to assist with the discharge of planning conditions. This often involves an assessment of levels, the design of roads and the design of drainage systems which incorporate SuDS principles, in order to suppoer planning applications or address planning condictions.
SuDS Plans
Keytech can assist with drainage systems which incorporate SuDS principles. We can advise on what SuDS features are most appropriate for a site, based on available space and topography. The design of Permeable Paving, Detention Basins ,Soakaways and Infiltration Trenches are examples of where we can assist.
Swept Path Analysis
Ensuring that a proposed road or road network is navigable by vehicles likely to use it, is important to ascertain at an early stage. We can assist in the early stages of a project to assess this.
Infiltration Testing
Infiltration is the primary method of surface water disposal, should the ground conditions of a site be conducive to this. Keytech offer the service of attending site to monitor infiltration tests and follow this up with a written report.
Road Geometry Assessment
As with assessing the suitability of a road or road network for the vehicles that are likely to use it, it is equally as important to assess geometry and ensure that the relevant design standards are adhered to.
Conceptual Design
With the implementation of SuDS principles being required with increased regularity, it is imprtant to ensure that sufficient space is allocated on site for appropriate SuDS features to be considered. Keytech can work with architects and developers at a very early stage in a development in order to achieve an optimum solution for SuDS whilst considering other development elements such as dwelling volumes.
