Major Works Agreements
Some projects require major works agreements to be entered into and agreed with the Local Highway Authority. These works often involve making permanent changes to an existing highway. Sometimes, as part of the agreement, works are required away from the development in order to improve the condition of the roads leading up to it.
Minor Works Agreements
As with a major works agreement, minor works agreements also involve making changes to an existing highway, however they are less extensive and tend to be limited to the area that the works affect.
