Section 104 - Water Industry Act 1991

The Adoption of Drainage as Public Sewers

Keytech have worked with clients on many developments that require the adoption of sewers and can provide the required support to complete the drawings, details and calculations that are needed for a Section 104 submission. We liaise with the Drainage Authority in order to aid the adoptions process and provide feedback to the client as the application progresses.

Making a Connection to a Public Sewer

Section 185 - Water Industry Act 1991

The Diversion of a Public Sewer

Section 38 - Highways Act 1980

The Adoption of a Road as a Public Highway

A S38 agreement can be used when a developer proposes to construct a new road for residential, commercial, industrial or for general purpose traffic with the intention for the road to be offered to the local Highway Authority for adoption as a Public Highway. Keytech have worked with clients on a large number of developments to prepare drawings, calculations and documentation to support Section 38 applications, liaising with the Highway Authority to aid the application process.

Section 278 - Highways Act 1980

Making Permanent Alterations or Improvements to a Public Highway

A S278 agreement allows developers to enter into a legal agreement with the local Highways Authority to make permanent alterations or improvements to a Public Highway. We assist our clients with the preparation of drawings and documentation to supply the required information and liaise with the Highway Authority to aid the application process.
